What job we expect you to do:
Lead the projects responsible for building organizational capability of advanced analytics in the areas of procurement
Manage various cross-functional procurement projects that include the areas of purchasing, contracting, sourcing, supply and commodity management using advanced exploratory, analytical and statistical techniques. Generate actionable insights and recommendations to enable strategic decision making and discovery of optimization and cost saving opportunities
Engage with client stakeholders on a regular basis with the aim of becoming their thought partner. Be a part of client working groups, discuss various opportunities at a technical and business level, and be able to tailor the message depending on the audience
Collaborate and work closely with the operations and supply chain leaders of client organizations to implement high-quality, data-driven decisions to unlock greater value delivered by procurement function
Actively participate in business development and account mining through proof of concepts and point of views to become a trusted content partner for sales and account teams
Define functional training requirements and develop training materials accordingly in order to provide training to internal team members on procurement policies and best practices
What skills we expect you to bring:
Strong presentation and communication skills. Be able to summarize complex ideas vividly and accessibly, create clear and compelling presentation using visual appealing design and storytelling
Proven track record in working and performing in a global cross-functional environment collaborating with various teams including supply chain, IT, operations and external contractors
Industry expertise in procurement data analytics and business intelligence along with in-depth knowledge across the varying functions like finance, accounts payable, supply chain, inventory management etc.
Wide exposure to functions across the supply chain: Procurement / Inbound Logistics / Production / Outbound Logistics / Retailing - capable of holding an independent opinion plus holding a conversation with a client from similar function
Past experience of working end-to-end on tool development and refinement for different phases of procurement using common diagramming and modelling methods, leading to efficiency improvement, cost reduction and spend optimization
