Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will be working with the Solution Owners for our Category Intelligence, Commodity Intelligence and Supplier Risk Intelligence solutions. This will include:

  • Working with Solution Owners on
  • Evolution of the solution concept
  • Addition of new propositions/modules
  • Identification, prototyping and development of (offline and digital) assets
  • Identification of potential partners that can strengthen the solution proposition and/or go to market
  • Conducting secondary research on company websites, industry associations, statistics websites, general press
  • Assess competitor offerings, products and performance to identify gaps in our proposition
  • Identify potential data and technology partners

Develop an understanding of sector issues and client needs/sentiments

Review findings, analyse and understand gaps/opportunities and map them to The Smart Cube’s solutions portfolio

  • Undertaking discussions with cross-functional teams (delivery, marketing and sales) to develop a further understanding of market and competitive dynamics as well as our capabilities

Participating in brainstorming sessions, performing analysis and asking the right questions

Understanding how solutions will result in client impact and suggesting ideas for enhancing the proposition

Developing asset concepts and prototypes under guidance of the Solution Owners

Creating non-technical documents and presentations under guidance from the Solution Owners to support Sales/Business Development, Marketing and other business readers

Providing analytical support to Solution Owners in their work on KPI and performance analysis and business case development

Be an internal and external evangelist for the solutions team

  • Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment where you need to push yourself all the time
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication, ability to communicate effectively both face-to face and otherwise with stakeholders at different levels in the organisation
  • Motivated, fast thinking, dynamic person with strong business acumen
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
  • Mature individual with a professional work ethic, and high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Independent decision making skills with humility to consult seniors when in doubt
  • Proficiency in using MS-Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • MBA with 12-18 months of prior work experience preferred
