Roles and Responsibilities

As we expand our Marketing function to take the company to the next level of growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Salesforce and CRM team. Candidates should have an inclination towards data management and data mining on the cloud-based CRM system Salesforce and understand the value that best practice data management delivers to sales and marketing teams.

This role is responsible for managing databases along with mining, cleaning and managing client and prospect data. The selected individual will also need to gain a good knowledge of our business and connect with internal teams to understand the requirements.

In addition to managing day -to-day scheduled activities, this role is also responsible for keeping data updated which is to be used for our marketing campaigns, reports and dashboards. This position requires the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality given the sensitive nature of the database.

 Key Responsibilities includes:


  • Working on user request for data creation and management which would typically include creating new accounts, leads, contacts or opportunities using  DataLoader tool
  • Working on database hygiene, including duplicate merge in the system
  • Enrolling members to the Salesforce campaign and creating lists in HubSpot
  • Updating Data on regular basis
  • Uploading data based on the spreadsheets shared by Sales / Inside Sales using  DataLoader
  • Providing required reports to Management time to time
  • Developing systems, procedures and policies for excellent database hygiene including correction of data-quality issues, process incoming data, and data standardization
  • Provide best practices and support to business leaders with respect to data quality improvements and automation
  • Collaborate with the Sales team, Inside Sales and Marketing to engage in the ongoing and detailed evaluation of data quality and lead assignments.
  • Must act independently and be able to own the analysis, recommendations, and impacts of assigned projects.

Ideal Candidate 


  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree desired
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and is able to manage large data
  • Minimum 6 months – 1 year or relevant experience in Salesforce Lightning (Sales Cloud) is necessary
  • This individual must excel in data analysis and problem-solving, and have the ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate his/her findings
  • Must have knowledge of DataLoader
